The RED NUMBERS on the chart below indicate a heater that will heat more than 2.5 Gallon per minute in the specific geographic zone. This meets our minimum requirement to be a satisfactory WHOLE HOUSE solution for a customer. If a heater will not do more than 2.5 G.P.M. at your normal water temperature we do not recommend buying the product for a whole house application.
